Website hosting is an allocated amount of disk space where all the files that make your website are stored. The difference between Email hosting and Website hosting is mainly the amount of space you require. Email packages are cheaper and have less space, as a lot of space isn't required. A good example of a use for Email hosting is if you want to receive mail on a personalised domain but do not wish to have a website. For example:

yourname@yourdomain.com

When someone visits your domain obviously something will still appear. With an Email package we upload a holding page to say thankyou for visiting. We would also display contact information about you with whatever contact information you supply.

Although the space we provide is for email use only the package still works in the same way a normal hosting package, which is why we are able to upload a holding page. We allow you to upload your own holding page if you wish but more than one page is not permitted.
